About This Project

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) 1:10 is a model of the joint space telescope by NASA, ESA, and the CSA. The developments for this telescope started in 1996 and has yet to be implemented.

The scale model of The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) was built among others for the ESA ESTEC, also known as The European Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. And for the ETH Zurich (Institute for Particle Physics and Astrophysics).

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) made by Hupkens Industrial Models will be used at tradeshows, exhibitions and conferences. In most cases, Hupkens Industrial Models will transport and install the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) model at the selected location.

The 1:100 models of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) will be given away by ESA to VIP guests at the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) scheduled for December 2021.
